Teach the Why of Torah and Mitzvot

The Omek Institute’s courses address life’s biggest questions to help high school students unlock joy and meaning in Torah and mitzvot.

It’s Time to Understand

High school is life’s pivot point. As students develop their core values and identities, let’s help them develop a meaningful and emotional connection to their Judaism.

Our Mesorah’s Deepest Answers

Questions are natural, especially for high schoolers. Whether  they’re deeply troubled or just wondering, they deserve to see the deepest, most compelling answers our mesorah contain —on meaning, purpose, and the core tenets of Yiddishkeit.

A Space for Personal Connection

All students, especially the spiritually inclined, need a space to develop a personal, meaningful connection with Torah and Halacha. High school is a pivotal time to open conversations about Judaism’s purpose, meaning, and values.

The Spiritual Side of College Preparation

Not everyone experiences a gap year in Israel, but 70% of modern orthodox high school graduates will attend a secular college. High school is our best chance to share the deep spiritual meaning and connection Yiddishkeit contains.
